Definitely softens skin, but less effective at lightening. I applied to just one hand to start so I could compare and see if there was a difference, and there wasn't a visible difference after a dozen or so applications. Maybe it takes more time to see the difference? In any case, you can definitely feel the difference in terms of softness.

People have a tendency to forget their hands when it comes to skincare. Really, you can easily tell someone’s age by looking at their hands. Not me. This stuff is the best. I’ve been using it for 4 months now and the back of my hands and fingers are so smooth and the skin has tightened. I used this then whatever serum or moisturizer I gave left on my hands after applying to my face, I rub on top of the on the backs of my hands. This product not only moisturizers and tightens, it also help any other product you put on top to soak deep into your skin.
