I am in my early 40s and I have been using PCA skin for over 10 years now. When I was in my 20s, I had issues with breakouts. I tried every product over the counter and those prescribed too. It was not until I had a light peel done with PCA products and since that peel I have always used PCA products. The products have always been consistent with my skin and I receive many compliments on my skin. I don't even use makeup, only on special occasions.

Great toner for my acne-prone skin
I just started using my second bottle of this toner. The first bottle lasted 5 months with me using it every morning. I wanted to give it a good try before writing a review. My skin is very sensitive, combination, and acne-prone. How that is humanly to possible, I don't know, but it is and has been that way for a long time. Almost everything makes me breakout (which started when I was 10). I haven't used a toner consistently for decades, but I hate wearing foundation, and I wanted something that would help smooth my complexion and minimize my pores. I also wanted a toner that would stop daytime breakouts (my nighttime face regime helped during the night, but I'd always get new blemishes during the day). It was a tall order. I didn't want something that would dry out my face or do long term damage either. Many toners had alcohol or witch hazel as the main ingredient, which I didn't like. This toner has neither. They scent is very light and not too noticeable. It does tingle a decent amount when applied, but it does not cause redness or discomfort for me. It definitely reduces my pore size and smooths my complexion (recently a salesman at the mall told me I had a beautiful complexion - a compliment I have never gotten before). Lastly, it does help to keep new breakouts at bay. I do still get some hormonal breakout during different times of the month, but the overall appearance of my skin has been very positive. And just in case you care, here's my daily face routine: Morning: wash with Replenix 10% BP wash, use this toner, moisturize as needed with PCA Clearskin moisturizer Evening: wash with same BP wash, alternate PCA clarifying retinol cream with Differin 1% gel(using Differin every night irritates my face), use PCA Clearskin moisturizer Good luck!

I ordered this because it was recommended by my aesthetician. I hated it, even after two bottles. It always made my skin sting, hand an AWFUL smell that I couldn't get over, and it itches a bit for a minute after you apply it. I thought, hey if it's working, but when I couldn't make myself get a new bottle and got PCA Nutrient Toner instead, I didn't notice my skin appearance deteriorating at all. I dislike this toner, and won't purchase again.

Makes skin very smooth...
I have used this toner for a little over a month and still have a little left and this does a great job at smoothing your skin and refreshing. But for me is a bit drying not out of the world that can't be handled but a little drying. Overall this toner is very good. Stings a little maybe is just me but I liked how it picked up every trace of left over from cleansing. I am just looking for something to help clear blemishes from acne marks so I may need something else to address that. I would repurchase this again.

Great for Acne Prone Skin
I have had skin that breaks out for 30 years with no luck using any products....Until, I found PCA SKIN. This toner is very effective but gentle on sensitive skin. Since using this toner, my breakouts are practically nonexistent.

This toner helped my acne a lot
I hadnt used toners in ages and started using them recently to combat my adult acne. This one helps keep my oiliness down all day, pulls blackheads out of my skin without a huge, traumatic purge, and is smoothing down scars, dermatosis papulosa nigra, and milia a little bit. The high acid doesnt really sting, which is kind of surprising. Not sure why, but I dont care! It does take off my nail polish, and I think it weakens my nails a little bit. Ive been working on keeping them protected at all times.

this is amazing...i saw a difference in my pigmentation after using this twice a day for a couple of weeks. now i usually just use it in the morning, since it also feels like a treatment. a little tingly, but cutting back to once a day seemed to alleviate that. this is the first toner ive used that really feels like its doing something extra for my skin! i will continue to purchase this.
