I have melasma. It sucks. I had pretty good results doing a medium strength peel (dermatologist, not self administered). I am now very good about sunscreen application but want to lighten my remaining melasma until I can get the peel done again (yearly). This product does a nice job causing slight peeling/exfoliating, thus lightening my melasma. I did use the brightening booster along with this product. I will definitely buy it again.

Great for acne scars
This is a photofacial in a bottle! I purchased this product to lighten my post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Whenever I get a breakout, no matter how small, Im always left with a scar that can take weeks up to several months to disappear. I used this product for two months consistently every night. I let it absorb into my skin for 10-15 minutes before applying my spot treatment. I started seeing results in about two weeks. My old acne scars started to fade completely and no new acne scars formed while using this lightweight serum. Dont forget to bring the serum down your neck. I neglected my neck for about a week and my face was lighter than my neck and chest. Always always apply sunscreen when using skin lightening products. Im so happy I tried this serum. I couldnt afford to pay for laser again. This gives me the same results as a professional laser treatment. Patience and consistency is key! Depending on the degree of your dark spots, I promise you will see results within one to two weeks. I customized my serum with the PS brightening booster. I will repurchase again and customize with the PS acne booster this time.

I have used this product in the past and it will absolutely lighten dark sun and/or aging products and particularly procedure splotching. You can personalize and add other useful additives as boosters that help as well. It will take about a bottle to really see the difference so be patient but it works without any bleaching ingredients.
