Gel does not meet my expectations
Since Redken discontinued Stay High 18, I've been looking for a replacement. I truly loved the gel that morphed into a mousse. I'm using the Max Sculpting Gel in conjunction with another product, a mousse to get the same sort of feel and texture. Not sure that I will purchase the Max Sculpting Gel after I use up this tube. It is less sticky and more fluid than I expected. I have short hair with a body wave.

Super hold!
I have been using this hair gel for several years. It is a bit sticky but it you're looking for a gel to style with, it's perfect. I use it sparingly because it is so stiff but it brushes out of my hair in the evening easily.
