Not the same as the Rene Furterer straightening gel

I had used the RF straightening gel for 10 years. When it was discontinued, I contacted RF to see what the replacement would be and they said this product was similar. I found that this product makes my hair too sticky and crunchy even when I use just a tiny amount. It did not give the blowout style I used to get using the older product.
