Feels good but no other benefit

Bought a holiday set on sale that included shampoo, conditioner and texture spray. Product claims to thicken and protect hair. I've noticed no difference over my usual drugstore shampoo. Feels nice on the scalp, though, thanks to peppermint oil. Would not purchase again.
