If you’re sweet and a little bit sassy, becoming the queen of the jungle for Halloween is the perfect option for you! Check out how Felisha, our Office Administrator, transformed herself into a lion in this easy Halloween makeup tutorial!

Step 1: Makeup

Every lion’s pride is her gorgeous coat, or in this case, complexion! To create a smooth base, Felisha used Antonym Skin Esteem Certified Organic Liquid Foundation in Beige Light. The natural formula contains shea butter and hyaluronic acid, which nourishes skin while diminishing the appearance of fine lines.

Next, Felisha created lion-like features by contouring with the Glo Skin Beauty Contour Kit in Fair to Light, enhancing the natural contours of her nose and cheeks. The powder quad contains four different shades for defining your features in a variety of ways!

The light shines on every lion’s kingdom, so Felisha applied stila Heaven’s Hue Highlighter in the shade Magnificence to her cheeks, forehead and chin to illuminate her look. The lightweight, ultra-fine formula provides long-wear coverage that can be built and blended for a look that’s all your own!

To channel her inner lioness, Felisha created a fluffy brow using the SENNA Sketch-A-Brow Pencil in Black Brown. The long-lasting, retractable formula provides natural definition that can be refined with the attached spoolie brush.

Next, Felisha created a warm, smoky eye using the Eleman Beauty The Elements Terra Earth Palette in shades Sahara, Sierra and Desert. Featuring a variety of matte and shimmer shades, these ultra-pigmented shadows easily blend and build for a variety of earth-toned looks. Finally, she highlighted the inner corner of her eye, her waterline and beneath the brow using the jane iredale Eye Highlighter Pencil in White/Pink. The jumbo, dual-ended pencil provides a subtle luster that enhances any look.

To complete the eyes, Felisha traced the upper and lower lash lines using the Sigma Beauty Liquid Pen Eyeliner. The felt-tip applicator provides total control, allowing you to create whatever shape you please! Next, she applied stila Magnum XXX Mascara. Formulated with 1% diamond powder for dramatic color and conditioning power, this clump-resistant formula creates thick, pigmented lashes that last.

Finally, she added a bit more glow using the Au Naturale Pure Powder Highlighter in Moondust. Formulated with 100% natural ingredients, this soft-focus highlighter adds luminosity that can be customized to your look.

Next, Felisha transformed into a lion by lining her upper lip and nose using the Sigma Beauty Liquid Pen Eyeliner again. First, she traced the outline of the lips and nose, and added dots above her upper lip to give the illusion of whiskers. Then, she finished her lips with the stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Dolce, a neutral nude that perfectly enhances the look. The lightweight, matte-finish lipstick provides weightless coverage that will last as long as any Halloween party!

Step 2: Hair

Lions are known for their manes, and Felisha’s is definitely one to admire. First, she gave her hair some volume and texture using Rene Furterer NATURIA Dry Shampoo. Formulated with rice and corn starches to absorb oil, the lightweight formula will also keep her looking fresh on any journey throughout the Sahara.

Next, she created the illusion of ears by creating small ponytails on each side of her head. Then, she teased the hair in each ponytail and wrapped it around itself. Finally, she set the look in place using the Kenra Professional Platinum HiDef Hairspray 16. The matte, flake-free formula offers touchable hold, so Felisha’s mane can still blow in the wind!
