Wednesday Addams may have been named for being full of woe, but this Wednesday Addams makeup tutorial will leave you looking like the star of the show! For Halloween this year, we transformed Sam, one of our Retail Sales Associates, into the iconic Addams family sister in just a few steps!

Step 1: Makeup

One of Wednesday’s most recognizable features is her pallid complexion. To achieve a smooth, light base, Sam used the jane iredale Glow Time Full Coverage Mineral BB Cream in BB1. The mineral formula contains antioxidants and sunflower oil to gently hydrate while soothing any redness and inflammation, making it the perfect method for achieving Wednesday-inspired skin. Next, she set the look using jane iredale Amazing Base Loose Mineral Powder SPF 20 in Ivory. She is strong as are her brows—so the next step is defining them! To perfect her brows, Sam used the jane iredale Retractable Brow Pencil in Dark Brunette. The ultra-fine, retractable pencil provides smudge-proof, long-wear coverage that easily creates the bold brows you’ll need.

Next, it’s time to deepen the look. To further enhance Wednesday’s iconic complexion, Sam used Glo Skin Beauty Pressed Base in Natural Dark and stila Luxe Eye Shadow Palette – After Hours in Velvet Rope to contour and sculpt her features. Glo Skin Beauty’s pressed base infuses skin with antioxidants to provide protection against free radicals while the stila Luxe Eye Shadow Palette provides intense color payoff for a soft, ashen look.

Wednesday may be known for her gloomy looks, but Sam wanted to go glam! She added a little shimmer to her look using the Au Naturale Pure Powder Highlighter in Moondust. The 100% natural formula provides a soft-focus finish with a slight luster for a subtle look Morticia herself would love.

Next, Sam created a deep smoky eye using the BY TERRY Eye Designer Palette in Smoky Nude. The mineral shades buff and blend beautifully, making it an ideal product for those that love to switch up their eyeshadow looks. Finally, Sam added a little shimmer to the inner corners of her eyes using the Eleman Beauty The Elements Aqua Water Eyeshadow Palette in the shade Seashell. The ocean-themed palette offers highly pigmented color for a variety of looks.

Finally, Sam finished her eyes by lining her upper lash line with the stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner in Intense Black. The smudge- and sweat-proof liner features a thin pen tip for precision application that can last through any spooky shenanigans! Next, apply your favorite mascara. Sam used the Youngblood Outrageous Lashes Mineral Lengthening Mascara in the shade Blackout because it provides smudge- and flake-proof coverage!

Last but not least, Sam enhanced her lips using the jane iredale Lip Pencil in the shade Berry and a deep lip color using the Youngblood Color Crays Matte Lip Crayon in Napa Wine. Step 2: Hair

To capture her notorious look, first part your hair down the middle and brush out any tangles. Next, braid both sides, securing with a band.
