I just started using the Alterna heat protectant spray. It's a keeper! I have tried so many different heat protectants on my fine & thinning hair, but none have left my hair so smooth, shiny & with a bounce! I applied the spray then worked a small amount of my hair thickener in & the result after blow drying was better than ever! I never want to be without!

This is a very light spray. It's not a hairspray that holds your style in place. It's exactly what it says it is, a texturizer. When you spray it, it comes out with a huge blast of air that blows your hair around. I have fine hair cut in a textured bob so I just spray it at the root and within the cut, and kind of fluff my hair at the roots with my fingers. I get a bit of lift, direction, and piecey-ness. I bought a travel size at first to test it out. I liked it enough to buy a full-size bottle.
