It makes my hair feel really really clean but does not strip it at all and leaves it feeling moisturized, I have long healthy shiny hair and people ask me the products I use all the time. I am 76 years old. So many of my friends use it now and they are much younger and love it.

I have tried several hair volumizing products over the past years...some make minimal difference, and some make my hair feels stiff. Alterna Caviar volume styling mist is by far the best. My fine hair has more volume and still has a soft, natural feel to it.

This is a very light spray. It's not a hairspray that holds your style in place. It's exactly what it says it is, a texturizer. When you spray it, it comes out with a huge blast of air that blows your hair around. I have fine hair cut in a textured bob so I just spray it at the root and within the cut, and kind of fluff my hair at the roots with my fingers. I get a bit of lift, direction, and piecey-ness. I bought a travel size at first to test it out. I liked it enough to buy a full-size bottle.
