I ended up returning this item after my experience with the original Foreo Kiwi, which had me bruised. Forgive my speculation but I can imagine the self-inflicated harm the microdermabrasion might have caused. Or maybe I'm clumsy. Either way, I'm happy I returned it.

Using this mask will take a LONG time to see any effects so can’t say how effective it really is. I can say that for the first few minutes it’s comfortable but then becomes very heavy and the pressure of the mask is very strong on the nose pads. My nose always has marks by the end of the 10-15 minute session. I dislike that very much.

I like the higher protection level for daily use. I did not use it on the beach, or other very sunny conditions. So I cannot tell whether it really would prevent sunburn then. You have to work on your face with your fingers a bit for good absorption. Once it is absorbed well, no ghastly white cast. Scent is OK, not too strong. I am overall happy with it.
