I received the Clarity 10% Lactic Acid Solution as a sample from LovelySkin. I have tried other exfoliants which didn't work for me and I had no expectations that the Clarity would work but amazingly a product actually lived up to its hype. I have clumps of milia which have resisted anything dermatologists have told me to do...combinations of exfoliants and forms of tretoinin or retina and acne medications. But Clarity in the am and retina in the pm have begun to work without shredding my skin. It's not a fast process but it is an effective one.

It dried my skin out even more than it was, it broke me out and made my skin look dull. I liked the idea of this and maybe using separately would've been ok but as a collective whole, this product line was not for me.

Nice, lightweight texture. Makes my lips feel smooth and hydrated, and lasts a decent amount of time. I noticed, however, that the more I apply it, the more I feel like I need it. I try to limit myself to twice daily. Overall, I like it, however I think I will try something else once this runs out.

I was worried this would cause some redness or dryness but it was gentle on my skin. I normally alternate between a few different exfoliating toners that are not as strong. I don’t use this one everyday but when I do, I can see that it smooths my skin more noticeably than the milder exfoliants do. I also like that the ingredients are so limited.
