I was using a different shampoo and conditioner for a few years on the recommendation of my stylist. My hair is 99% silver but I am not ready to let my brunette hair go. With that brand my color was fading after 10 days and my hair was breaking off terribly. I switched to Kenra Color Protecting Shampoo and Condition and my hair color is lasting longer and the breakage has stopped!

This item delivers, although I wish that the hold lasted a little longer. I was introduced to it by my hairdresser and initially thought that the results were strictly due to her great blowout. Although, I can't replicate professional results, I do get a gentle, soft hold and some humidity resistance resulting in less frizz. I recommend it for those with frizz prone hair who prefer to avoid sticky, stiff hairspray.

Most of the time I am very happy as it protects my hair from blow drying. What I really love is the smell of the product I have long hair and I can smell it when it blows in my face.
