While using the whole Bassu Surface line I've applied this product as a mask. I rinse it after 15 minutes and unfortunately haven't experience a deep conditioning sensation. It just feels like using the regular bottle of hair conditioner. While the cream is covering my hair it feels smooth and moisturized but as soon as I rinse it the effect is gone. I believe the Masque is not penetrating deep enough to hydrate hair, instead is coating the strands. This approach doesn't work for me. I'm unaware of its efficacy as a leave in treatment with or without heat.

My hair has been shedding for about 2 months, after effects of maybe Covid and stress. My hair went from long and silky to breaking straw :( so need moisture and a great DETANGLER because of the length. Tried to use this a few times and it didn't help with shine, texture or detangle. Will stick with my "It's A 10" miracle leave-in conditioner.

I was looking for something to really hold my naturally curly hair, without feeling sticky or heavy. This is quite strong and I've had to kind of maneuver and use it in certain ways that don't give me that heavy weighted feel. I do like it however. I just have to use it in a certain way that works as far as styling and holding the curl. I just lightly spritz all over, making sure not to spray too much. I definitely have to be careful, but this is a spray that I'll purchase again. I enjoy this brand very much. I'm happy to see it at LovelySkin:)
