Dr Haushka’s Rose Day Cream

I use Efudex to clear my facial skin of pre cancers. One time I experienced a particularly strong reaction and was bothered by scabbing and itching. The ONLY remedy that gave me relief was this Day Cream….i tried a variety of options including plain olive oil. Worth a try if looking for richer type hydration and protection.

As I age, I easily succumb to the trends, miracles and promises in skin care. With fair, sensitive, allergic to everything skin (a more recent development) it's a real challenge. Needing a simple moisturizer/night cream that would not cause problems or clogs, was affordable and actually did something, I dared try this. And I love it! Great texture, the rose scent dissipates, absorbs quickly, leaves a subtle sheen, really helps manage makeup in smile lines. I use it AM and PM with no negative reaction. For me, this is back to the basics.

First, I’d like to say thank you to LovelySkin for including this full size item in my most recent order. I’d never tried this cream before and might not have ever found out about the product had I not been gifted it so generously. The Rose Day Cream is lovely, and has a very lightly scented rose fragrance which has not caused my skin to overreact in the annoyingly dramatic way it usually does when fragrance is anywhere in the vicinity. And, I see that within the ingredient list is a type of wax; this creates a light film on the skin that I’m enjoying as well. Seems like a lot of good, simple ingredients for those with dry, reactive skin, and I’m looking forward to how it will do in the longer term.
