Formulated with the same exclusive Fernblock® Polypodium leucotomos extract (PLE) technology that made original HELIOCARE powerful and effective, HELIOCARE Advanced also features nicotinamide. A form of vitamin B3 that does not encourage skin flushing, nicotinamide promotes better skin health while helping skin provide better protection against free radicals. Gluten-free and vegan, this daily supplement is an accessible source of antioxidant protection.

I bought this to help protect my skin from the aggressive Colorado sun and after about a month, I'm a little underwhelmed. Even though I use SPF 40+ on my face, my skincare has actives that increase sun sensitivity, so I was hoping for additional protection. I really can't say that this has helped, and it's quite expensive, so the jury's still out on whether or not it was worth the purchase price.

Must have extra protection against UV rays. Being diagnosed with LUPUS made me very conscious about sun protection. I took one star for it is not a substitute for physical protection.
