My first time using this product and I have to say, I love it. My hair is thick, coarse, and wavy, but not a pretty wave, more like lumpy. After just using one time, along with the conditioner, it is soft and manageable. I use a straightener everyday to tame my hair and I have to say that my hair layed much better before I even straightened it. So it did not take as long to style as usual. And blow drying didn't take as long either. My hair feels light and bouncy. I bought the travel size to try, but I will definitely will be buying the full size.

Expensive but worth it

I have been on experiment with Shampoos and conditions based on certain medications I'm on. I turn to this and surface. Over the past 3 months I wanted to give up. Magically, I noticed hair lengthy and the front of my I was loosing a ton is almost grown in. Takes patients not overnight. I use this along with Surface, shampoo and treatment love the combination. Doesn't wash away color.

This shampoo is very good at maintaining the level of color you have in your hair; however, I rated it a 4-star due to it has zero volumizing effect and my hair is quite fly-away after all is said and done (which may have to do with the matching conditioner). It seems like a great shampoo AND conditioner if the only issue you have is to save your color. If you have various other issues (like flat hair, split ends, etc.) this isn't the pair for you it isn't for me. Thank you.

I have been using this product for over a year. My stylist suggested I use it, and I have been very happy with it. You only need a small amount, as adding more water makes it suds more. I was also advised this product is great for aging hair, which at 65, I can use all the help I can get!
