I've been using this cream for at least 10 years (previously called power of three cream). My dermatologist originally recommended it to me. She explained the packaging keeps air out because some of the ingredients lose effectiveness quickly if exposed to air. I like this cream because it does not irritate my skin or cause breakouts.
