Gentle non drying
This is an excellent gentle cleanser. I like how it is a foaming cleanser. It does not break my face out and does not leave it dry. I would recommend this .

Great for sensitive skin!
I suffer with autoimmune flares which affect my skin. This cleanser is gentle yet effective. It does not further irritate my existing rash and I do feel it deep cleans and removes makeup, you just have to make sure to read the directions and allow to foam for 30 secs. I also use this cleanser post laser treatment and it is incredibly gentle during the healing process. I religiously use Elta MD clear SPF 46 as well as the spray SPF for the body. My dermatologist and laser aesthetician recommended this line and I’m so glad they did.!

A little goes a long way
My derm recommended this face wash and I am very happy I followed her suggestion. It is oil free and helps keep my face clean without being drying. It even takes off mascara and eye makeup without having to rub. Bonus, you only need a pea-sized amount for a good foam. I will say my face doesn’t have that typical smooth, “squeaky clean” feeling after I wash it, but that quickly vanishes once it is dry.

EltaMD products recommended by my Esthetician
I prefer the Elta MD Deep Pore Facial Cleanser to the Elta MD Foaming Facial Cleanser because I think it foams more than the Foaming Facial Cleanser. I'm a soap and water gal and the Foaming Facial Cleanser is more like a lotion. I didn't give it 5 stars because it won't take all my eye makeup off and I don't wear water proof makeup. I still have traces of eye liner when I'm done. Other than that, I like it, and it is a little bit cheaper than the Foaming Facial Cleanser.
