cleansing delight
I love EltaMD Foaming Facial Cleanser! I have been using Obagi for many years and decided it is time to try something different. Getting the samples from LovelySkin introduced me to the EltaMD product line, and so shopping for a new cleanser I thought I would give this one a try! So happy I did! The cleanser starts out creamy then begins to get foamy on the skin. After rinsing my skin feels super soft and clean! Thank you, LovelySkin, for providing such a fabulous product at a reasonable price!

Love the foaming action
I have been using EltaMD Foaling Cleanser for over 2 years now due to an issue I developed of a dermatitis around my eyes, mouth and nose. It was soothing and while it did not cure my condition, it definitely did not make it worse and it was very gentle on my skin. The dermatitis eventually went away on its own and I have continued using this product. The foaming action gives me a very clean but not dry feeling after rinsing, even washing away makeup. I am only giving it a 4 because of late I have actually begun to break out a bit on my chin—not sure why. I have no intention of changing but rather am using other products to address the breakouts.

Elta MD Foaming Facial Cleanser
I don't use it every night. I use it when it feels like my normal cleanser will not be as efficient because I have more make up on or my skin has been exfoliated. My grand daughter loves it because it is so foamy and she loves laughing at herself in the mirror. It does a good job cleansing her cherub face too!

This is one purchase that I was disappointed with. I love both Elta sunscreen and moisturizers. However, I felt like this cleanser left an awful residue behind. I had to cleanse with a different cleanser afterwards to feel like my skin was clean. Just not for me.

Since turning 40, my skin has changed and is more sensitive! I have tried all kinds of products, and they irritated my skin until EltaMD. My dermatologist highly recommended this product and I love it! It doesn’t take much to wash face. I just put a tiny amount in my hand and add a little water and it foams up as you rub in your hands and apply to face. It feels really nice and I won’t use anything else!

Great for sensitive, acne-prone skin
This is a great cleanser for sensitive, acne-prone skin. I love how it foams up. It makes me feel like it is really cleaning out my pores. I know its just the ingredients that make it foam up, but I like it. It does do a good job taking off my makeup, and my skin does look good after using it for a little more than a month now. It does not dry out my skin. I have sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin, and I am 46 years old. I usually buy this at my dermatologist office.

EltaMD Foaming Facial Cleanser
I have used this face wash for years and love it, however I must note that it does not take all my makeup off. The reason I continue to use this cleanser is because it does not irritate my eyes or skin and does not leave my skin feeling tight after use. I like to use it as my second cleanse at night after using a makeup removing balm and I use it to wash my face in the morning. I should note that I wear a lot of makeup, if you only wear a little this might do the trick for you. The gentleness of it can’t be beat, I even use it post procedure without any issues. Definitely recommend and will continue to use.

I love this facial cleanser because it is gentle on my skin and is very foamy. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the way it is packaged. It tends to dry out at the tip of the pump, so the first dispense is hard & clumpy. I think it may be better if it came in a tube and not a bottle.
