Light but moisturizing day and night!
I really love this product and it is my go to moisturizer. I use a retinol product every night, so I need an amazing moisturizer both day and night. I chose this as it is "post recovery" but I found it great for those who use retinol. It is not greasy and it absorbs well. It does not sit on my skin and can be used as a night cream as well.

Feels so good on the skin!
I've been looking for a moisturizer that has a good amount of anti-aging properties that: (1) Is not in a jar (I read about jars being very unhygienic, a breeding ground for bacteria and could cause oxidation of ingredients). I love how this is using an airless pump; (2) does not cause irritation on my super sensitive skin (I have seborrheic dermatitis and a number of night creams have given me little red bumps and flakes and does not!); (3) is moisturizing enough that it can be worn alone at night or as a base layer before putting sunblock if I wanted to use it in the morning (I have dry skin and even though this is considered a light moisturizer it's moisturizing enough for me). I used the EltaMD PM moisturizer before and didn't like it as it gave me red bumps but this Skin Recovery Light Moisturizer seems like it's very calming to my skin. I haven't used it long enough to see if it really makes an impact but so far I am really liking it!

Essential moisturizer for oily skin

Light for day use
I decided to try this moisturizer because I needed a lighter day moisturizer when I was so hot and humid outside. I spend a lot of time working where I’m sweating and this one seemed to not seem so sticky or cake like.

Light moisture
Even though I'm in my 50's, I have oily, acne prone, sensitive skin. This moisturizer has a nice light, watery texture. It really helps for those times when I get dry areas due to retinol usage and I need a little more moisture that my regular hyaluronic serum can deliver. I use it most at night, but occasionally use it sparingly during the day and it does not make my skin look greasy or shiny.

I am really liking the whole skin care recovery products from EltaMD! This moisturizer is very light, it comes out more watery but soaks in fast. Does not feel heavy. I layer this over the toner. All the products really do help keep the skin supple. I have very sensitive skin and haven't had any reactions to any of the recovery line products!

Tried this as a sample and then decided to buy the full bottle. It is a great moisturizing option going into the hotter, summer months - it goes on light and watery. I use Retin-A nightly and other exfoliators and was getting red, peely, irritated skin. This has been very soothing.
