I've been using this for years based on my dermatologist's preference for "physical" over "chemical" sunscreens. It's kind of pricey but doesn't leave the white cast that cheaper physical sunscreens seem to do.

Favorite face sunscreen
This is my favorite facial sunscreen and I actually like wearing it. As in, I want to put it on and not just do it because I’m protecting my skin. It has a lightweight gel like texture and disappears leaving a slightly hydrated glowy finish. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive.

Great sunscreen
My dermatologist recommended this sunscreen and I have been using the tinted one for years. It is very light weight which I like. I either use it alone or add a drop of foundation to it for more coverage. I bought it on LovelySkin because it saved me a trip to the Derm's office to pick it up and there was a promotion so it was less expensive. I recommend this product.

Doesn’t feel like sunscreen.
The best sunscreen to wear under makeup. It’s lightweight and not greasy like other sunscreens. I would suggest using something stronger if you are going to be in direct sunlight for a longer period of time, but I always keep this product on hand because it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing sunscreen at all.

I have been using Elta MD for years since it was recommended by my dermatologist. My dermatologist recommended this product about a year ago and I have been using it ever since. I used to also use a primer before putting on make up but no longer need it. I just use the sunscreen and let it dry before applying my makeup. I have acne prone skin and rosacea and have had no problems with it.
