Smooth, light, effective
The ELTA MD UV CLEAR 46 facial sunscreen is light, non greasy, effective and goes on easily and smoothly. Is non pore clogging after several uses and seems to be effective sun protection for my cancer prone skin. Giving it 5 stars….great product. A little goes a long way and I like the pump dispenser!!!

Rapid absorption, no color, nice feel
I had received a sample of this with a previous order and decided to buy it. I have used Elta MD sunscreen for years (recommended by my derm's office) but the one I was using was a thicker formulation, was SPF 30, and came in a plastic tub. I liked it but would not use it for daily activities; only when out running or gardening, where I wouldn't be concerned about how it looked on my skin (it had a whitish cast and was a bit greasy). This product is much better. It is easy to dispense, goes on very smoothly, is not thick, and absolutely colorless. I use it every day. I don't usually wear foundation so I don't know how it interacts with foundation, but it goes on smoothly after using morning products like serums. It's a bit pricey but a reliable, high SPF, broad-spectrum sunscreen that feels good on your skin and that you will actually use every day is worth its weight in gold.

Feels light and doesn’t cause breakouts
I keep coming back to this product…. Started using it several years ago when hormonal changes were wreaking havoc on my skin…breaking out like I was a teenager again! I’ve tried other products such as drug store brands that were labeled for the face but they were so heavy compared to the Elta product. Makeup goes on great over the Elta product!

I’ve been using EltaMD Clear SPF46 daily for years and it’s far and away the best sunscreen I have ever tried. I actually get compliments from people who think I am wearing foundation because it lightly evens out my skin tone and is so hydrating within being greasy. I also have mature skin that is very sensitive and prone to breakouts which had been a problem for me even with hypoallergenic sunscreens until I switched to EltaMD on the recommendation of a dermatologist. I’m absolutely thrilled with it and always afraid to run out so I make sure there is always a new one on hand. Lovely Skin also has specials so I jump on those and stock up! If you have sensitive skin, I highly recommend trying EltaMD clear SPF46.

My GO TO moisturizer with sunscreen!
I have been using this EltaMD sunscreen/ moisturizer for over five years. It moisturizes without being too heavy for summer and works great in the colder weather, too.
