Moisturizing Protection
I use this sunscreen because it’s so moisturizing. Many mineral sunscreens are too drying for me but after applying this one, I can then put some mineral over it. Or sometime I mix them in my hand before applying. This one works for me.

I have tried several mineral sunscreens and this one has been consistently working well for me. I know this is a hybrid, so to be clear it is not 100% mineral. Having said that, I can consistently use it as both moisturizing and sunscreen at once and my skin looks well. No white cast whatsoever! Even my boyfriend use it and is very happy with it. He tells me that during his long bike ride it does not drip down his face.

This creamy sunscreen is wonderful! It has Vitamin E and transparent zinc oxide to protect against UVA and UVB rays. It’s lightweight and soaks in with no white reside. Perfect to wear under make-up. My skin is very sensitive and I’ve tried numerous sunscreens for my face. This one is the best!

Great Sun Protection and Moisturizer!
This is a wonderful product that my husband uses everyday since having skin cancer. Thankfully, it was basal cell but it was caught late. The area affected was on his face. He will never go through mohs surgery or plastic surgery again, so he uses this on his face, neck and ears everyday! Also, he stays out of the sun between the hours of 10 am until 4 pm most days of the week. Elta is fantastic! We are very happy it is available on this site :)!!

Best Non-irritating Facial Suncreen
I have been using the EltaMD UV Facial Broad Spectrum SPF 30+ Moisturizing Facial Sunscreen for years, ever since a doctor's assistant recommended it for me. It is effective, but very gentle on my dry, sensitive skin. The best feature is that it does not irritate my eyes, even when I apply it very closed to my eyes. I have not found this to be true with any other sunscreen. I miss the larger jar container that is no longer available, but this tube version is actually more portable and hygienic.
