I ordered this by mistake. I can't use Petrolatum products or "cones" on my face. I'm surprised that a premium line would use petrolatum products. I use it on my body instead and it seems to work good - too greasy for my face.

Calming, Luminous Coverage for Glowing Skin
I have used this product for several years now. I bought it to replace a discontinued SPF I'd used before that. My goal was to get an emollient, hyaluronic and nutrient rich product that gave me great coverage and made my skin glow. This fit the bill. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because its not a great product to have on when working out or being out in the sun too long. It will drip and run and wont cover or block rays 100%. If you are predominantly inside and not getting sweaty in the sun its ok, but coverage wise I've had better. If left on after a workout this product can produce milia, which are little pearls of congestion in the pore. I still like and use this because of the beautiful coverage it gives, but realize that if I'm wanting flawless coverage from the sun I need a better option. Elta does have quite a lot of products to choose from. I just always look for the moisturizing w hyaluronic acid because it tends to give that supermodel glow.

My dermatologist recommended this and uses it after several procedures. I use it daily. It goes in well and protects my face and neck from the sun. I can usually get it for a slightly lower price here than elsewhere. Win-win

Holy grail (Wish it had higher SPF)
I am a minimalist and I love that this sunscreen gives me a dewy, hydrated glow in the morning without needing another moisturizer. It's super elegant under makeup. I just wish they would come out with a similar formula with a slightly higher SPF for summertime. And tub packaging please!!

This is a great moisturizer to use throughout the day for both face and hands. I have put a tube in each bathroom. My only complaint is that the first time I use it in the morning on my face it doesn’t provide the amount moisture my skin needs. So I start off with my regular moisturizer and layer it with the EltaMD.

I’ve used this for almost 20 years & LOVE it!! My only complaint is you no longer offer in the 4 oz jar. Jar seemed to be more emollient than the tube. I’ve had Melanoma so a good sunscreen is imperative & I hope this product is around forever.

Not my primary sunscreen
At first I did not like this sunscreen because it feels greasy and looks shiny when applied. However, I have grown to like it as long as I can give it time to sink into my skin. My skin definitely glows after application. I have found it better to use another sunscreen after my morning skin care routine and use this one to reapply during the day and evening. If I use this after my am moisturizer the sunscreen seems to sit on top of the moisturizer. I plan to reorder this sunscreen.

Great every day sunscreen for face
I have been using this product for many years. It is lightweight and goes on smoothly (no white streaks on initial application). I use it every day including when going for a run. No problems even with excessive sweating. This product used to come in a tub but now only available in a tube. I hate trying to get the last bit of cream out of products that come in a tube.

Almost perfect
My daughter, who is 18, loves this - it's light on the skin and non-greasy. I found it just a bit too watery in application - it kind of slips around - and not emollient enough for my dry skin. Luckily EltaMD makes another sunscreen which is perfect to me (UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 if I'm allowed to name it!)

Better but still white cast
I like that this is a hybrid physical-chemical sunscreen. It did not irritate when my skin barrier was compromised. I like that it's creamy and moisturizing. It provided great protection. When applied, this product is extremely and obviously white, like geisha white. When it dries down, it's less white, but still noticeable. I have to use less product for it to dry-down to a barely noticeable white, but then I'm concerned that's not be using enough for optimal SPF coverage (ugh). I like that this product did not pill, that's HUGE. I have tried dozens of SPFs and it's amazing to me how the overwhelming majority are terrible at pilling, white-cast, too makeup-y, or irritating.

It spreads on beautifully, feels great, melts right into my skin. Unfortunately, I just discovered that it contains Octinoxate which current research shows is now thought to be a harmful element to use on the skin. I love this product. What a shame.

Moisturizer with sunscreen
I bought this as a moisturizer with sunscreen since my old one was very greasy. I always use sunscreen on my face unless I use a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen. I like the creamy texture and it applies smoothly. 4 stars because I do not intend to reapply this every 2 hours as directed unless I perspire.

I use the pricier Elta sunscreens for my face but use this on my arms, legs and chest. It’s light but moisturizing. Sometimes I put Elta Sport water proof sunscreen as 2nd layer especially on my arms when getting full sun.

Pretty Good
I have yet to find an EltaMD sunscreen that I did not like, this version included. This one is more moisturizing than UV daily or UV clear, so I find myself using it when my skin is on the dryer side. It does have a white tint when it's first applied, but after a few minutes, it turns translucent. A lot of product comes in the jar compared to the other bottles which is an added bonus. My only complaint is that my eyes seem slightly more sensitive to this formula compared to my usual UV clear and UV daily versions.
