Great product. It is easy to use and lasts a long time. It has an SPF of 20. Terrific for travel because it is not a liquid.

Best makeup I have ever used
I was a makeup artist for over 20 years, and have always used liquid makeup on myself, and my clients. Unfortunately I developed a skin condition called Rosacea, and suddenly was unable to use any of the makeup on myself that I have used for years, due to drying and irritation. My dermatologist told me about Jane Iredale Amazing Base makeup, he said that his other clients with my skin condition seem to have good luck with it. That was 20 years ago, and I am still using it. It is the only makeup that doesn't irritate my skin and has great, natural looking coverage. If you want lighter coverage, just put one "coat" on, if you want more coverage, just apply layers. It never looks overdone, even in the light of day.

I have Rosacea and have been using Amazing Base for several years, it makes the skin looks very smooth, for best result, put on thin layers, little goes a long way. I have light olive skin and Golden Glow is the color.

This product works very well on my mature skin. I have to mix the natural color with bisque to match my neutral nc25 skin tone. It is best to layer the minerals in light layers then mist. I also use bisque alone to cover discolorations first, the mix the two colors together. It does last all day and looks good until I remove it.

I tried the Amazing Base Loose Minerals for the first time and love this foundation. I have dry skin and was worried that the powder would be drying but it has the opposite effect and is moisturizing and leaves my skin smooth. It provides great coverage, as light or full as you want. The amber is the perfect shade for my light-medium complexion. Love it!

Best (and healthiest) Mineral Foundation!
I was introduced to this product, her flocked sponge (which Ive not been without since I first saw what it does---get the flocked sponge!) and purchased two of her brushes in about 2004. I had used bare minerals before this, and yes,coverage is adequate, but the long term "wear" of janes product for exceeds B.M. It is also much, much healthier for ones skin, and looks far more natural as though youre truly wearing no make-up. The application is easy, and coverage is great. It feels terrific on the skin.

This is a wonderful, sheer powder
It took me a while to find my color match (Light Beige), but once I did, I was very happy with this product. This is my first time using mineral makeup. I have never cared for the look and feel of powder on my face but I have to say that this is very sheer and covers well and responds well to the jane iredale POMMISST. You can wear sheer or continue to layer for more coverage. For daytime, I mix with sunscreen and use as a liquid foundation. I would recommend this powder and will purchase again.

Nice color, bad coverage
The colors are lovely, but I cant apply this over tinted moisturizers, or else is cakes up. When I apply it on its own, it slides around my face! Obviously not a good thing if you want a full coverage mineral foundation. Last, and most importantly, it breaks me out. I know this product is the culprit because it is the only thing that changed in my makeup regimen. I recommend trying out a sample first, to see how your skin reacts.

Amazing Base is surely aptly named. I have been using it for about five years, and I constantly marvel that puffing on a bit of this magic powder gives me better coverage and a flawless finish that I never got from all the liquid and cream bases topped with loose powder that I have used over the years. This is best makeup I ever used!It doesnt cause any skin problemsit actually corrected many.Also a plus that it has built in sunscreen!Recommend to all my friends & family.The only negative is that it keeps makeup area dusty!I use a big towel under my application area!
