I have thin hair which gets oily very easily. For years, I have washed my hair once if not twice a day. Then, I found this product! I have fine hair that gets oily at the roots quickly, but I don't like to wash my hair more often than every other day. This product helps me achieve that without looking like a dirty hippy. The aerosol is a bit noxious to apply in a small bathroom, so I run the ventilating fan when I apply it. My hair does have a whitish/greyish cast right after applying, but I let it sit a minute, then tousle my hair with my fingers and it looks normal. It even makes my hair look thicker/more volumized than after I wash it with regular shampoo.

Klorane is the third brand of dry shampoo I've tried. Issues I had with the first two were that the first one had way too strong a scent and made my hair look a bit ashy, even when I followed the directions precisely. It was just too powdery. The second one I tried smelled less perfume-y and worked well but after an hour or two, my scalp would become super itchy. I have sensitive skin (usually reacts worst to certain preservatives), and clearly there was an ingredient in the second product that my skin couldn't tolerate. Now on to Klorane. This dry shampoo works better than the others I have tried, freshening my style on days I don't shampoo (trying to repair dry hair by shampooing, and therefore styling with heat, less frequently), giving it a light fresh scent and good texture while eliminating any trace of oily looking hair. My skin does not react at all to this product either. Finally, no matter how much product I've used, I've never had my hair look powdery or even a bit ashy. My search for the perfect dry shampoo is over!

I've tried SO MANY dry shampoos - it's finally becoming a popular item in the US - but this one is by far the best. If you do it right, you can use it in the morning, sleep on it that night, and still look fresh for the entire next day. I'm not gross, I promise! Just busy!!
