Great base for lipstick
First, I am huge fan of LRP and have used many of their products for years as part of daily routine. I bought this as I do use a sleeping lip mask at night, but found I could only use during make-up prep., and then blot off prior to lipstick. I find since this is not a glossy balm, I can put on lips, then my lip SPF and then go in with my lipstick without it interfering with my lipstick application or longevity. I cannot speak to how repairing it may be, as I really don't have issues with my lips as I do use heavy lip balms other than when I am going out and wearing lipstick, and I have only started using recently, but knowing the products and how efficacious they are, I would presume this would be great balm for those with dry, chapped lips.

New Favorite Lip Balm!
I've never bought a lip balm so many times so quickly... that's how much I've loved this product. Here's why: it has gentle, trusted ingredients. It does have Sodium Saccharin (a sweetener) in it but no fragrance or other flavoring. It moisturizes and applies like a balmy chapstick and then dries down. It's a different feel than vaseline-type products b/c it's more of a matte moisturization which is unique. It's great to use before a lipstick or gloss. If you want a thicker goopy balm, this isn't it but you could use a thicker application or apply a basic goopy balm on top over night to seal in the moisture from this LPR balm. I have a minimum of two on hand at all times!
