Good protection
Like the product says...it's a physical sunscreen. This product relies on zinc oxide and titanium dioxide to protect you from the sun. It is a thick product! It is moisturizing and goes on leaving a white cast. The cast eventually settles down and soaks in after about 20 minutes. A few years ago i used this as an everyday sunscreen but switched to a tinted sunscreen. I like to have this on hand just in case i need it but you really do not get much product for the price. There are better deals out there. Also, to get all the product out of the tube I end up cutting the tube in half as the product gets low. It is not easy to do because the tube is hard.

Love the product but hate the container
I bought this physical UV SPF 32 before, and the product itself was great, easy to spread on my face, and worked wonderfully with the application of the foundation on the top of it nevertheless, it was very difficult to squeeze the product out from the plastic container but was possible. And this time, I bought it again, it came with the same type of container, and for reason that I do not understand, the product is even harder to be squeezed out from its plastic container, and I do consider myself a strong woman. The plastic container seems very much the same to me as the last time, but the product quantity seems less, and only after a week of using it, making effort to squeeze the product out, the plastic container now looks as it is partially vacuum with suction, and makes it impossible to squeeze anything out, even I can see through the light that there is still some sunscreen lotion inside. It is unfortunate that I like the product and now I have to cut the plastic container to transfer the product to another container, so I can make use what is left inside. Now, I wonder if that still provides me the same benefit that the sunscreen lotion from its original container or it may lose its potency? I hope they change the container, and make it easier to use.

Very thick if you like full coverage
This sunscreen is really thick. So thick I can barely squeeze it out of the bottle. Its also very hard to apply and smooth onto your face because it is so thick. It also goes on white so when I apply my makeup after, I have to put on bronzer or I look like casper the ghost. It has great sun protection but it takes a while to blend in.

If you've had any type of procedures on your face (IPL, facials, peels) the one thing you don't want to do is undo the results of what you have paid for. I found Obagi to be the best skin block, especially for my face, of any I have used. I always keep a spare bottle on hand -- don't ever want to run out!

It would be perfect if...
I really like all of the Obagi Sunscreens, but this one is my favorite. For a sunscreen that has a high percentage of zinc oxcide, it goes on quite smoothly and leaves my face looking protected, but not like it has a white mask. Although I live in the California desert, I spend much of the summer in Las Vegas, Nevada. The high temperature and intense heat requires me to re-apply sunscreen quite often. Obagi's SPF 32 would be perfect if it were both waterproof and sweatproof; a must for any desert climate. I hope their chemists will create such a sunscreen. Otherwise, I recommend it to everyone looking for an effective, high-quality sunscreen... You won't be disappointed.
