Really great feel and texture
I just switched to this sunscreen recently from the Shiseido Ultimate Protection line that I have used for years and years, before they reformulated their SPF 50 to the WetForce formula, which I hate. This Obagi sunscreen is lovely. It has a very matte finish that is nice under makeup, and it doesn't leave a strong white cast if you prefer to go without makeup. I wish there was a little more zinc oxide in the formula, just to feel more protected, but I would absolutely purchase this again. It, or another Obagi sunscreen, will now be my everyday sun protection.

My husband loves this sunscreen!
I bought this for myself several years ago. Unfortunately I could not use it because of an allergy to one of the preservatives. I gave it to my husband and he has been using it for several years. He wears it everyday and says it is the sunscreen he likes best. He even prefers it to my Japanese fluid sunscreens. I never notice a white cast on his skin despite the high zinc oxide content and it does not look greasy.

Silky and effective sunscreen for the face
This sunscreen has a silky, smooth feel -- not tactile or sticky at all like other formulas. Another good thing about it: no scent. I put it on after my toner and serum and before my tinted moisturizer. I dont wear much makeup but the tinted moisturizer, concealer, powder and cream blush that I usually use layer well on top of it. I would have given it 5 stars if I had felt 100% at ease about the PEG compound and octinoxate in the ingredients. For now, the sun protection outweighs the health concerns about those chemicals.

No chalkiness
This smooth product does not leave any white chalkiness on your skin. It "dries" quickly so that makeup can be applied almost immediately after applying the sunscreen. It does not sting when applied around the eyes. Used it here in the Arizona summer heat and never had a problem with the product or my makeup "melting". Really like the matte finish.

I have melasma and extremely oily skin.All I can say is this sunscreen helps control my oil without a white cast. My face has not seen the sun in two years thanks to this sunscreen! Because of this sunscreen my melasma has been under control and has never gotten worse or darker! As a matter of fact, you can barely see my melasma and I dont even think about it anymore. Found my everyday Sunscreen!
I have been searching high and low for a sunscreen that does not make my face greasy. I have combination skin and this is the best sunscreen for my face. It did not make me breakout, as some sunscreens cause my face to get these tiny little bumps on my chin and my face is not greasy and it does stay matte the whole day. This is the best sunscreen ever!! Goes on so easily and dries quickly to a great matte finish. My makeup goes on perfectly over the sunscreen and it actually helps it set better.
