The taupe color does not have a little rose tint to it like the another brand has. I prefer the other color of taupe. The texture of the Oxygenetix brand is pretty thick, you can dilute with a little water as needed. Goes on well, covers rosacea well, too.

I love the ingredients in this product but the color is so strange. I chose opal and it seems to look somewhat fine when I blend it out with a sponge. However, if I use my hands to rub it in it looks EXTREMELY orange. The same thing happened when I used a brush to try to get more coverage. I am so disappointed with the coverage. I have cystic acne which leaves hyperpigmentation and this foundation didn’t cover anything. It’s more of a light coverage/skin tint. I like that it doesn’t emphasize any texture but for the price it should provide more coverage.

I have tried this a couple times and want to like it but more shades are needed for lighter skin. I have mature skin(over 70) and have a fairly light, neutral complexion. The ivory shade skews toward yellow on me and doesn’t look flattering. I have to mix it with another foundation so I don’t discard it. For the price, I would like more choices of shade matching.

Nice Formula but Lightest Shade is too Orange
I really like the formula and feel of this foundation. You truly don’t feel it on your skin. It’s gives light to medium natural looking coverage. Unfortunately, I ordered the lightest tone, Pearl, and it’s far too orange for my pink undertones skin. I’d definitely try again if they come out with a lighter shade.

Not as moisturizing as I was hoping for. I have very dry skin, and always prep with moisturizer and face oil. This foundation went on rather smoothly, but did not stay moist. Felt dry after just an hour or so. Not so much cakey, just more powdery... For me, coverage was too sheer. I tried to “build up” with more layering, but still didn’t get the coverage I wanted. And, didn’t notice the size when I ordered. I just assumed it was 1 oz. only .5 oz.

Almost Foundation Heaven!
I was SO very excited to try the Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation when I received my delivery! After researching foundations quite a bit, I felt like I had found my perfect foundation. Because my skin is extremely sensitive, I cannot use the majority of foundations/BB/CC creams on the market due to many of the ingredients including, but not limited to, chemical sunscreens and denatured alcohol. So when I first put this on, the foundation felt like foundation heaven! The formulation is literally perfect for my skin. In fact, I didn't feel like I was putting on makeup - it felt far more like a serum/moisturizer. So I was crushed to realize that the color was way too dark for me. Like many specialty/higher end foundations on the market - the color selection is very limited. (Why is this?) I am extremely fair with a cool undertone but the lightest shade in Oxygenetix' blue undertone shades was much too dark for me. For those who are more within the 'normal' skin tone categories, I think this foundation could be the ultimate for many!

Great foundation but unfairly priced and cheap bottle!
This is a great foundation. Builds up nicely if you want fuller coverage. Clean ingredients so you can feel good about wearing it. It lasts a full day for me but I do set it with a powder. The color recommended for me was Beige but after trying both, I am actually Taupe. Cons: the amount of foundation you get is very little in comparison to what you pay for, the color matching is difficult unless you pay for the foundation match card Oxygentix sells which is a little ridiculous. They should have a better developed method on their website for color matching and lastly the foundation bottle is plastic... just feels cheap. They can improve.

Because they divide into blue undertone vs yellow tone, and I have a blue undertone plus light to medium skin, I chose the color ''Taupe." I didn't expect it to literally be a taupe color, but it is–a definite grayish cast to it. Weird and not particularly flattering, although it doesn't look too bad on and does cover pretty well.

Nice but not worth the price tag
This is a nice foundation, however, I had a couple of problems with it. First, I had trouble getting a color to match my fair, freckled skin. I chose "Creme," which is a bit too yellow/dark for me. Secondly, I found it hard to spread the foundation on my skin. Maybe, I should have used a moisturizer first. It is also very expensive for such a small amount of product in the container. Mine arrived looking half empty. Lastly, the promotional description of the product at the top states that it has a sunscreen. However, I do not see any SPF listed on the actual bottle, so I am wondering if I should apply my own sunscreen underneath it? I probably won't purchase this again.
