This is a nice shampoo/conditioner duo to try out if you have fine/thin/damaged hair. It worked best for me when I used the products 1-2 times per week. Any more frequently than that, and it seemed as though residue would build up, making my hair appear stringy. I do feel as though my hair was more resilient, however, when I used this duo as more of a special treatment only a couple of times per week.

Not crazy over the smell
It definitely thickens my hair, but it smells like baby powder, so if you like that smell you'll like it. I thought it made my my hair heavier and harder to style. It got dirtier faster.

You should buy this now. I have been using this product line for over 6 years. I am almost 60 with shoulder length hair and I’ve been told my hair is shiny and looks very healthy. It’s a bit of an extravagance for hair but well worth it for hair that is in good condition. Shampoo and conditioner are both great

Quality shampoo
I was impressed with this shampoo. I've used other Pureology shampoos, but I like this one the best. I feel like my hair gets clean without drying out. My hair feels so strong and healthy. I have fine straight hair, and this shampoo does not weigh my hair down, yet it keeps it moisturized. I have chosen to rotate this shampoo and matching conditioner with my other shampoos, so that my hair will not be getting too much of the same thing. I am very glad that I purchased this product. I had gotten a free sample of this from LovelySkin and liked it. It is expensive, but a little goes a long way, and I feel it is worth it.

Great things about this shampoo: washes hair in a strengthening way, does not take away the hair color, and works perfectly with its conditioner. The only sad part is that I have been told twice to use shampoo and conditioner that has biotin. This shampoo has no biotin, but I have not found a shampoo with biotin that smells better or washes better than Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo.

Strength Back in 1 Wash!
I had very healthy, strong hair until I had my 2nd blonde balayage (over) done. The front sections were not feeling strong and overall my hair felt different, not in a good way. I got the the samples of Pureology strength cure shampoo and conditioner as generous samples from LovelySkin and used them post salon visit. I was amazed at the restoration after just 1 use! My hair felt silkier than it ever had with Aveda’s Smooth Infusion, even the frizz was gone when paired with my regular smoothing fluid. My hair stayed clean longer with this Pureology too. The only reason I deduct a star is that I will miss the smell of Aveda and wish Pureology would have a more comparable scent but that’s a sacrifice I’ll make for this kind of dramatic hair restoration. Of all the reviews I’ve read on multiple sites, this is the line of Pureology with the best results for frizz as well as strength. Of course, LovelySkin has the best price though.
