Product Irritated my neck
As with other reviewers, this irritated my neck and collarbone area, producing red splotchy patches. It took several days to recover from. Then I tried to use it less often and more sparingly and it still bothered me. I've used retinol products before so I wonder if it's the peptides?

I use a number of SkinCeuticals products and was hoping this would work for me. Unfortunately it didn't. I am not sure if it was too strong or if I am allergic to it. I stopped a couple of times and waited a week to try again but still itching and burning. Too bad.

This is a great skincare line, I know, but this particular product did not work for me. It caused an itchy rash. I cut the product use back to once every five days and still experience a rash after use. Disappointing.

This highly irritated my neck
After a week of using it, I developed what looked like a rash all over my neck that was quite noticeable. The skin was very irritated, dry, and looked awful. I assume it's the Retinol that is too drying? I've been slathering Aquaphor on it daily but it's still very red, dry, and irritated. I'm going to see my Dermatologist for help and advice as I don't know what else to do.

After one use, my neck turned red (like it was burned) with red irritated bumps. I waited a week, and tried again after first applying a mild moisturizer. Almost the same result. It's taken another two weeks for my skin to calm down. Needless to say, I won't be using this product again, as I believe it is actually doing damage to my skin. This is the third Skinceuticals product I've tried and rejected as being damaging to skin. Can't say anything good about it. Would give it zero stars if I could.

This Product Was disappointing
After using SkinCeuticals products for years and also recently attended a video discussion, I decided to try this product. I tried it on my arm the day before to make there were negative reactions. The directions say to use two pumps am and two pumps pm. I started with one pump am and pm. After 4 days, I started to notice a rash. I terminated my use. My neck rash spread, was flaming red and was painful. I have contacted LovelySkin as well as SkinCeuticals directly.

I have used many products in my life and tried many brands. I never had a negative reaction until now. I like some SkinCeuticals but not this one. I broke out in an itchy rash on my neck. I stopped using it and then tried again-- another itchy rash. This is a very expensive product to purchase and I am very unhappy as I will end up throwing it away because I cannot use it.

I am a long time user of Skinceuticals products and was excited to try the new neck repair cream. But BEWARE if you use this product because it contains lye (sodium hydroxide) and is very aggressive on the skin. It gave me a first degree burn requiring a a presciption steroid from a doctor to heal up. The burn left track marks across my neck and felt like a severe sunburn, which later peeled like a sunburn! I am all for a product that can help the neck, but not if it causes injury. This is a product laibility lawsuit waiting to happen. I am surprised there were no warnings on the packaging. I do not recommend this product!

I bought a bottle of this and the second time I used it I had a reaction. My neck looked like it was sunburned. It was painful for several days, someone told me to put cortisone on it. In three days it was healed but my skin was very dry. I was looking forward to using it but now I am left with a bottle of an expensive product I will never use.

Be Careful Using This Product
I hesitated to write a review because I didn't use the product for 16 weeks which was the length of the clinical study. I discontinued using this product due to adverse skin irritation after only 10 days. The LovelySkin site says to use every other night for a week then increase to nightly for one week then twice daily as tolerated. The SkinCeuticals product box/bottle says to use every day for a week then increase to twice a day. I decided to be conservative and follow LovelySkin's recommendation, however I wasn't able to tolerate the product whatsoever. While in my second week of application, my neck skin became very irritated with a burning sensation that was intolerable. The "rings" I have on my neck turned red and appeared worse. The "crepiness" became more pronounced and irritated. My skin itched, burned and turned red and blotchy. I fully understand that some products may make the skin worse before it looks better but in this case (in my opinion) it's not worth the irritation. I also fully understand that everyone reacts differently to products, so what happened to me may not happen to others. I have never had such a reaction to any product including those with retinol. I just want people to know this product is very strong and it's best to follow the instructions on the LovelySkin site vs. the product box/bottle if you decide to try it. I hope other people have a positive experience. It took almost 2 weeks for the skin irritation to fully go away. Just a warning to be very careful if you decide to use this product. I'm a happy regular LovelySkin customer so this has nothing to do with them. This is a SkinCeuticals product issue. This product should have included more research and a much larger group of people in their clinical study, and a longer study to gather more results. I've used other SkinCeuticals products before and have liked them. Unfortunately this product is a big $120 disappointment. I'm surprised it was even launched. I do not recommend.
