So far, it’s very smoothing and my slight purply shadows seem lessened a bit (it’s only been a little over a week, though). One of the best eye creams I’ve ever used. It diminishes dark circles, smooths the wrinkles. My hubby even commented that my eye area looks much tighter. A little goes a long way. If too much is applied it will ‘pill’ when you apply anything over it. Love this one!

I know there are brands that we all think are the best, but I can't help but to be skeptical. I have used other eye creams that I believe are just as good for a much lower price. Don't get me wrong, it's a great eye cream, but I think you can get other great eye creams that are cheaper, thus this is why I only gave it 3 stars.

I have read multiple times that eye cream is a waste of money and then any moisturizer you put on your face you can use under your eyes. It might be true; I have no idea. However, I have been using skinmedica eye cream for nearly two years and I do not have one wrinkle under my eyes. I love the way it feels. I really do like this eye cream - it goes on nicely and feels very hydrating. The one thing that I don’t like is that sometimes when I put makeup on over it, the lotion gets flakey and clumpy. Not sure why it happens sometimes and not others, but other than that I really like this one and I’ve tried them all if feels like!
