I love TNS Recovery Complex
Back in 2005 the cosmetic coordinator at my Dermatologists office recommended this product for me for my old acne scars (I have mild pitting scars). She said it would help raise the pitting so it wasnt as noticeable. She said I should use TNS with a 5% to 10% glycolic acid exfoliator to get the max benefits out of TNS. Whenever I could afford to buy this product, my skin HAS looked amazing. Im 31 now and I would recommend this product to anyone for any skin reason. Its a great serum to add to your skincare routine. It IS pricey so if your skin already has a ton of problems, the product alone is not a cure-all and dont expect it to fix your worst problems... but it will make a difference over time with consistent use. If in doubt, see your Derm Dr. for best suggestions :)

Love this line but not impressed with this product --perhaps just not right for my skin
I use and love SkinMedica products, and so I bit the bullet and splurged for the Recovery Complex. I wish I has saved my money. Perhaps I am not the right person for this product. I am 44 (next month), and my skin looks good for my age and lack of a dermatologist. My skin has its issues, though it is dry and extremely sensitive and shows signs of too much sun in my first 20yrs of life. I have dark spots, a few fine lines around my eyes, bunny lines (if you wrinkle your nose, they are the lines you get between your eyes -- I dont have to wrinkle my nose to see them), and hereditary deeper lines across my forehead. I also have some melasma from pregnancy. I was hoping that this product would help in particular with the melasma, dark spots, and fine lines. After using the product per the instructions twice a day religiously until I had used the whole bottle, I did not notice any improvement with these issues. My skin felt really nice after using the Recovery Complex, but my skins feel is pretty good as is, and my SkinMedica C&E complex and my exfoliating products already help with that. My sensitive skin had no adverse reactions at all, but I just didnt see results. If you have dry skin, definitely dont expect this product to stand in for your moisturizer. I still used my usual face cream day and night. The smell is a bit off-putting, but it dissipates quickly and should not stop you from using this product if it works for you. Maybe if my skin texture had more issues I would have noticed more results, but for discoloration and fine lines that mostly only I notice I just wasnt impressed. The bottle also didnt last as many months as I had expected. One pump wasnt enough for me, and I am very short with a proportionately small head.

So far so good
Ive only been using the product for a month. I am considering ordering another container. I like how smooth my skin feels after I apply it. It does take two pumps to cover my neck and face, so it is expensive. I dont think it has a strong smell at all, certainly not repulsive, as one reviewer noted. I use it twice a day on my dry, sensitive, 58 year old skin.

Not for the acne prone or oily.
I started using this product and worked hard tolerating the odor looking forward to the results. within three days I had a pimple. Thought nothing of it, until the 7th day I had a full face of acne. I am 57 so you can imagine what this made me feel like. It just go to show that all the wonderful reviews do not work for everyone. This product was an investment. Would love to get my money back .

Great but expensive and does not moisturize
I really like this product, but it leaves my skin dry and taut. I need a lot of moisturizer afterwards. It is also incredibly expensive given the amount in the container.

Wonder product
As a person with somewhat aging skin(65), this product smoothes and relaxes the skin, so that your foundation looks flawless. You even look better in the close up pics. I have developed rosacea and this seems to be soothing as well.

Iv'e only been using this product for a few months but I love the way my skin looks after I apply it. I do feel I need more than one pump to cover my face entirely as it dries very quickly. I wait a bit and apply moisturizer over it and my skin looks great.

Visible difference
This product is expensive but worth every penny when I consider that it replaces a series of other ones which use toner, moisturizer, etc. It saves time because I only have one thing to do to my skin (or at least fewer processes). Therefore, I am more likely to use it. It makes my skin firmer - I can literally feel it when I put it on. It is great on the neck too. My skin also glows more when I use it. I am over 60 and frankly, this product keeps me looking at least seven years younger.
