Avoid the eye area and leave it on for two minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water followed by cool water. For normal to dry skin types the recommendation is once a week, but my skin is pretty oily so I actually use it twice a week. Don't tell anyone but I actually leave it on for longer than two minutes because I can't get enough of this glow.
