LovelySkin Through the Years

Humble Beginnings

When we first started out in 1997, our day spa receptionist helped fill orders—about one or two a week! She prepared each order and took the packages to the post office in a shoulder bag. When she needed two bags to make the trip, we decided to ask the post office to come to us.

Orders Grew

With more and more orders coming in, we needed more room! In 2000, we set up a special fulfillment area in a small office located inside Dr. Joel Schlessinger’s clinic practice.

Moving Day

In 2005, we moved into our own space—a 2,000 square foot bay across from the clinic. Fun fact: This space was formerly occupied by a fast food restaurant called Atomic Dog!

Significant Growth

By 2010, we were opening a 16,000 square foot facility across from Dr. Schlessinger’s clinic, complete with a brick-and-mortar store, spa and space for our support staff. We were also excited to join the Internet Retailer Top 40 Fastest Growing E-Commerce Companies!

International Reach

Once again, we outgrew our space! In 2014, we expanded to more than 30,000 square feet. We also added a new loading dock and video studio, allowing us to bring on more of your favorite skin care and beauty brands while efficiently increasing our domestic and international shipments.

Worldwide Recognition

Even in the last few years, LovelySkin has accomplished so much! We were recently honored with the Bizrate Platinum Circle of Excellence Award for the sixth year in a row. While visiting our facilities, Brent Saunders, the CEO of Allergan, also shared the exciting news that we are their no. 1 account worldwide! We are so blessed to continue to serve hundreds of thousands of customers across the globe. We can’t wait to see what comes next!
