What you’ll need:
- A small clip
- Bobby pins
- Hair scarf
- Lightweight styling cream
- Soft hold hairspray
Prepare for this style by smoothing a styling cream through your tresses to fight stubborn frizz. We chose Fekkai Coiff Perfecteur Anti-Frizz Silkening Crème because its lightweight formula will minimize frizz without detracting from the messy hair bun.
1. Pull all your hair to one side, over the shoulder. Clip the hair on the sides of your head in place to establish your where your messy style will sit.
2. Loosely twist the rest of your tresses, rolling your hair to form a messy bun shape.
3. Carefully secure the style with a few bobby pins. Make sure the small clip you started with is hidden beneath your bun.
4. Add a floral hair scarf for the perfect spring look.
Give your finished style a final check in the mirror. Pull apart pieces that look too structured and pin back any crazy flyaways. If needed, you can apply a quick spritz of soft hold hairspray to keep everything in place.
