I walk outdoors, play tennis and sail. Sunscreen is an important part of my daily skincare routine year-round. Before I was introduced to Alastin Skincare SilkSHIELD I was using a formula from my dermatologist. His formula left a white residue. Alastin is PERFECT. No white residue and I use it daily with pleasure.

I have used the IS Clinical Active Serum for almost 20 years and wanted to add this to help with uneven skin tone and dark spots as I approach my late 40s. Wow! Within a week a few of the spots were noticeably lighter, and barely a month later they have almost disappeared. I use this at night and the active serum in the morning, IS Clinical Cleansing Complex twice a day, and the IS Clinical Moisturizing Complex twice a day. Yes, these are pricey, but you don't need to use a lot of product, so the bottles will last a while. And they WORK!!! You get what you pay for.

I tried this product after one of my friends introduced it to me. It seems a little sticky and weighted my hair down a bit so I had to be careful not to apply too much. That being said, it helped with frizz in the summer months and I used it often then.

I like to use this serum after tret and before moisturizer as it really prevents the tret dryness. I also like to use this serum on exfoliating nights. It's very soothing and hydrating. … more
