I purchased this product after seeing a Facebook "commercial" for it. I already use the Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Spray so I thought it would be as great as it looks. For me, it wasn't. First, it did nothing to increase the volume of my hair, second, the day after my hair had so much static in it when I went to style it that I had to rewash my hair. Do not recommend at all!

I was so torn between dark blonde and light brown - I labored back and forth and finally chose light brown and I'm very happy with it. The base of my hair is a medium brown (dyed - because I'm nearing 74!) and with blondish highlights, and some low lights. I'm two weeks away from my next stylist appointment so I used this for the first time today and it is PERFECT! It really covers the "shinies" of my gray hair as it's coming in on the center part of my crown, and it blends perfectly with my base and highlight colors, somehow. I am more white than gray on my sideburns, so I used the LovelySkin receipt card to place between my face and the hair, then brushed on the product, and that worked perfectly. Any piece of paper will do, but tissues definitely didn't work for me. Too floppy while holding the hair down to apply the products.

I love the other WOW products I use so decided to give the Color Security Shampoo a try. I have short, colored hair and it takes very little shampoo to have a thick lather. I love the way it makes my hair feel clean and was surprised when blowing it dry to see that it also added shine. Best shampoo I have ever used.

I recently purchased the large size of this conditioner after being so happy with my initial purchase. This product does double duty. It does not weigh down fine hair and it provides heat/styling protection without having to add another product to your repertoire. I have had the best luck using both the shampoo and conditioner. I do believe they also protect my colored hair from fading better than anything else I have tried so far.
