I am really loving everything I have gotten from this brand and this spf stick is no exception. It really does glide on rather transparent (especially for a zinc-based product) -- there is a slight cast but it almost looks like a highlighter stick in a way, instead of a super opaque paste like I'm used to with zinc spf 50+ products. I have a light to medium skin tone but live in the tropics, so I have a good base tan. The Freaks of Nature website does have some pics/videos of what it looks like on different skin tones and it seems to be great universally. Just a FYI -- I use this for outdoor activities, not as an everyday spf under make-up.

I have mature, dry reactive/sensitive skin. I tried this on my face and instantly turned bright red and started burning. Even after removing, face was red and stinging for two days. It’s a shame because I liked the way it absorbed and the white cast disappeared. If you don’t have sensitive skin, you may like this sunscreen.

After trying out a sample of this, I was sold. It starts out like a gel but after thoroughly working it over my sunscreen/makeup, it turns into more of an oil texture that washes off effortlessly. Unlike another reviewer, I have not had a problem with it not removing my makeup but I do give it a good scrub into my face before rinsing. This also will not give you a squeaky-clean finish that a typical face cleanser provides, rather, it cleanses the face without stripping. I have extremely sensitive skin so this face cleanser is an absolute winner in my book.

I really love this oil-based hydrating serum -- I use it to seal everything in as a last step in my routine in the evening. The ingredients are absolutely stellar and I also really like the thick gel consistency instead of a typical runny face oil. A little goes a long way, so half a pump is all I need for my face and neck. I also really appreciate that there are no fragrances or essential oils (apart from the natural earthy scent of the oils themselves). Too many facial oils contain unnecessary scented ingredients that can be hard on sensitive or barrier-compromised skin. Another winner from this indy brand!!
