I still like this Lanza shampoo and continue to use it and other Lanza products, but I can't figure out why they changed the packaging to such an ugly color (looks like Silly Putty or the color that grammar schools paint hallways). As I've reordered I've actually kept my old bottles and just put the new product in those. Besides the poor choice of color, it seems that these new bottles (and they've done this for all the products -- gel, etc.) it seems the new packaging actually has more plastic. Shouldn't we be going for less?

I've been using this product for the past few years. I can't speak to the it's ability to promote hair growth, but I attribute it to the health of my scalp, which is key in hair growth. I apply it all throughout my hair, directly to my scalp, parting my hair in sections for even distribution. I use it on my wash days after conditioning/before styling, and throughout the week, especially after workouts to refresh my scalp and help with sweat buildup. The tingling sensation feels amazing and leaves my scalp feeling clean and rejuvenated! I don't have scalp issues, but find this product as a nice-to-have to maintain the health of my scalp.

I have been using Lanza Healing Volume Root Effects for years. They recently changed the formula when they gave the can a new look. From comparing the old can to the new can, it looks like they removed the Keratin Amino Acids among a few other substances. I do know that the new formula doesn’t work nearly as well for me as the old one did. Why do they have to change things?
