Not for my skin

I love the Hydrogel mask from Benev but unfortunately this squalane doesn’t suit my skin. It just doesn’t absorb, and therefore my skin doesn’t feel moisturised.

This makes your skin feel so nice and smooth, until it pills. I haven't figured out yet how to prevent the pilling, but am still working on it. It has a lot of potential. Just use it t night when the pilling doesn't matter.

BENEV Pure Squalane made my face itch terribly.

I have very sensitive skin, with a history of acne, eczema, and perioral dermatitis, and I have tolerated many products containing squalane. BENEV’s version of squalane, however, is oily and stayed oily on my skin, maybe because it is derived from olive oil rather than sugarcane or beets. It also caused my face to itch horribly, and I have difficulty calming itching like this once it starts. I can only hope that I will not breakout from this. I will not use this again and would not recommend it to others with sensitive, breakout-prone skin.

Soothes and Moisturizes

I have dry skin due to a couple of factors: age and I'm using Retina-A for helping my skin after years of sun, and acne. I have tried many different brands of moisturizers and oils. Benev's Pure Squalane was recommended by my dermatologist. I fell in love with it after the first application. It goes on smooth and my skin drinks it in leaving a wonderful calming effect. It does not clog my pores. I'm very sensitive to putting anything with fragrance on my face, this has no overpowering or synthetic smell. I use it twice a day, after my morning cleansing, and in the evening before bed. Works great with my foundation. My skin looks the best in years!
