Noticing improvements

Love this peel!

I have been a fan of the daily peel pads by DG for a while, but this steps it up so I do it once a week. I have high tolerance for acids so I use it every Sunday, and it's the extra OOMPH that my skin loves. My only gripe is that like others have said, Step 1 runs out WAY before Step 2, so I wish they'd double the size of the Step 1 bottle (or at least make it possible to buy Step 1 separately).

Prefer the Dr. Gross Pads

This peel from Dr. Gross is meant to be even stronger than his iconic pads, but I have noticed less of a difference in my skin when I use this Clinical Grade Liquid Peel. I don't find that I can get enough product on the cotton balls that are included, and overall I prefer the convenience of the pads. On the positive side, there was no stinging or burning.

Resurfacing peel

I have used glycolic acid for thirty years. I had a favorite brand that stopped making cosmetics. So my skin is very use to it. This Dr. Gross product is not strong enough for me and has done very little. So I (senior) am not rating it very high. This is a product for those who are just starting to use glycolic. I see no change at all in my skin.

Takes those stubborn layers of ugly off!

OK, so I give this product 5 stars because it does actually work. No irritation at all, even got down to some milia I wanted gone. My issue is the packaging and price. The #1 step goes empty way before the #2 step due to the consistency of the products. I'm only able to buy the "set" every time leaving me with lots of #2's, the bottles are also wayyyy too small for the price. They come with these obnoxious sterile vacuum sealed cotton balls that take about a minute each ball to puff out so you can actually use them, very annoying. The #1 step is the magic stuff and I'd like to buy a big bottle of just the #1, not the set, not the annoying cotton balls. I do appreciate the beautiful spa like packaging but not practical for a busy mom of 3, I just wanna swipe and go to bed not mess with cotton balls or spend money on a set when I only need 1 product.... Dr. Dennis products do actually work and are great for keeping my cystic acne AWAY!!

Excellent resurfacing skin treatment

I experienced a great result with this product...I have mature skin that gets oily in hot temps. It really rejuvenated my skin which also helps with the occasional breakout as well as skin cell turnover If you’ve used the alpha-beta peels which are decent I’ve used many this is another level!

Love this product! I’m so happy it is now available on LovelySkin! If you’ve been using similar products already, this should not irritate your skin. I haven’t used anything else like this that works as well for me. Tightens pores, helps clear up acne and helps remove marks that acne can leave behind. My skin glows! It’s expensive—stopped using it for awhile because of the expense, but I haven’t found anything that works as well on my skin. So far, so good....

After doing endless research seeking a product that would give me a nice resurfacing peel, this one seemed to fit the bill. I was looking for something to replace the peel that my dermatologist had created for me. I used that one several times a week and it was great, however it was quite costly. This one is not inexpensive, but hopefully it will last me a while. As for results, I have been using it for one week, and although leaves the skin feeling nice, I do not feel any sort of peeling sensation like I did with my other product. Both step one and step two of this kit go on like water (and then other words there is absolutely no reaction—stinging, burning, cooling, nothing— when applied). As suggested, I follow it up with the doctor Dennis Gross exfoliating moisturizer. I am trusting that all of the find ingredients as well as the trustworthy brand knows what they’re doing and I will continue using and check back in after a few weeks.
