I Faithfully Use This Weekly

I have struggled with adult acne nearly 20 years, and recently have ended up with dry skin as well as those nasty breakouts. However, Dr. Hauschka's skin care line has been a game changer for me! This is one product I use religiously every week. I personally really like the smell, and it does NOT dry out my skin after steaming! Once a week, I put about a teaspoon of this product in my home facial steamer and steam for 10 minutes. I follow that with the Clay Mask and then soothing mask afterward. I cannot skip a week of this steam bath; I have seen a dramatic improvement in my overall skin condition: acne has improved, blackheads are gone, pores are small, and my face is feeling less dry and even - dare I say - glow-y!

Perfect addition to my weekly facial steaming

Just what the doctor ordered to clear out my pores. I add a couple of teaspoons to my facial steamer reservoir, fill the remainder up with distilled water and steam for 10 minutes. Voila - my clogged pores are no more.

Lovely addition to a steam bath

This is a lovely addition to a steam bath. In winter I like to steam more for my sinuses, but my skin and hair get the benefits too. This has a light, pleasant fragrance and does seem to loosen gunk in the pores. I bought a steam machine, but it only takes distilled water, so I have to use this the old fashioned way.

Difficult to use properly.

I definitely noticed positive results when I used this, but it is the most difficult product in the line to use. Pouring about a tbsp. into hot water and holding a towel over my head for 15-20 minutes was tedious. However, if you are diligent with it and don't mind the extra work it is definitely an effective product to incorporate into your weekly routine!

I am happy with the steam. It goes a long way. I usually do my facial mask while bathing, so I just warm some water put in a bowl with the steam and cover it with a towel for a few minutes. After my bath, I wash my face and wow! It really opens your pores!
