EltaMD UV Sheer Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ Face and Body Sunscreen offers hydration and sun protection in one sheer formula.

Formulated with hyaluronic acid and squalane, this sunscreen provides hydration while keeping you safe in the sun. At the same time, vitamin C provides antioxidant protection. That means a better defense against visible skin aging caused by ultraviolet light, infrared radiation and high-energy visible light. On top of all that, the sunscreen absorbs quickly. You get a matte finish that helps even skin tone without leaving a white cast.

Great Sunscreen

This facial mineral sunscreen from Elta MD is just a fantastic sunscreen to use. Personally, I prefer mineral sunscreens because American chemical sunscreens burn my sensitive skin. I can use Korean chemical sunscreens without any redness and burning but not the American ones. This particular sunscreen from Elta MD is a mineral based sunscreen and I just feel that I get more coverage with this type of sunscreen. Most mineral sunscreens are hard to rub in and leave a thick, white cast but not this one. This one is thin enough and is very easy to rub in. It also doesn't leave a white cast if you use it correctly. If you use too much of it, it will leave a slight white cast but it disappears once it dries down. It does feel nice on the skin and is not as sticky as most other sunscreens.

I love this sunscreen. I particularly like that I am confident that I am actually getting SPF 50+ protection in a sunscreen that isn't heavy. I use this on my face and makeup glides right over it. It is also hydrating. There isn't any pilling. After I apply it, there is a very slight white cast but it melts into the skin within seconds. It doesn't crease in my lines. It doesn't sting my eyes if I perspire. After I apply it, it evens out my skin tone and I feel like I don't even need foundation. I am 62 with fair and freckled skin.
