Great Cream for Strengthening Skin Barrier

I use this product every night on my forearms to strengthen the skin barrier. My forearms do not sustain purpura with every little ding as they did prior to using Epionce creams. I used Epionce Medical Barrier Cream before it was discontinued; the Renewal Calming Cream is its replacement. Keep in mind that it takes months of faithful application before the skin barrier really responds--at least in my case with 70-year-old skin.

Great for body skin.

I’ve extremely reactive skin on both my face and neck was just started a year ago. I can’t find a moisturizer that I can use other than a plain cheap hypoallergenic one. I thought I would try this. I do love this for my neck and chest area. I personally don’t love the way it feels on my face but it does not irritate my skin at all. I’m just a person who can never seem to use a product that’s for both body and face on my face for some reason. I really like this brand and I hope they make a fragrance free option of a strictly facial moisturizer. It’s so hard to find something that fits that bill. But, this does moisturize my neck nicely and does not irritate it. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and not had a reaction which is great.

I think for people with dry skin, this will definitely help. It's best for post-medical procedures like microneedling, but personally, for my combination skin, it broke me out, and it was too heavy for my skin. Then again, I mistakenly got this one rather than the epionce LITE facial lotion, which does not break me out. My mistake. Lesson learned.

Perfect for eczema and rosacea flares.

This is the only thing other than petroleum jelly that I’ve found to use on my face when it gets irritated in the winter. I have eczema and rosacea and pretty much everything irritates my skin in the winter. This is saving my face and without all the unpleasant greasiness of petroleum jelly!

Smell???

I am so surprised none of the reviews have mentioned the awful, acrid smell. I avoid fragrance in products so I am fine with a little funk, but this is extreme. The smell lingers for an hour plus and a few family members have even asked where the terrible smell was coming from. Want to love it but can't use because of how pungent this product's scent is.
