Works good for a spot treament.

I keep a bottle of this on hand for when I have an acne flare-up. Using this as a spot treatment gets my acne spots to calm down/go away within hours. It's thin and absorbs quickly.

Don't know about this one

I originally bought because of all the good reviews. I needed something to help clear up some closed comedones I have on my forehead. I've been using this for about 6 weeks now with minimal improvement. I'm not sure if this actually contains the 2% salicylic acid it says it does. I feel that it is not that strong. Also I'm not a big fan of the bottle design. I will use up the rest of this bottle but will not be repurchasing. I feel that it is way to expensive. It may work for you if you have small breakouts every now and then but feel I need something a tad bit stronger.

This is an effective treatment for clearing up current breakouts, preventing new breakouts and for lightening post-inflammatory pigmentation (dark spots post acne).
