Lovely Colors

I was wanting to change to a matt eyeshadow and just guessed which one to try. I like the different pictures of models with different skin tones showing the eyeshadow shades. This is a great matt shadow kit for my 73 year old skin. I use the very dark shade to fill out my eyebrows and the other two as eyeshadow. It doesn’t seem to clump up after a few hours, but stays nicely even.

Great neutral shadow

This is a lovely neutral eye shadow for daywear, or anytime. Very basic, nice quality shadow, and it would work for most skin tones. I contacted the company to ask for a Jane Iredale shadow that would be close to their old "Cappuccino" shadow, which was a lovely and perfect taupe shade. This is what was recommended. I do like this trio -- but not quite as much as the discontinued "Cappuccino," which is why I just gave it 4 stars.

When l first got this eyeshadow and tried it, l was like, l may be returning this. It looked too light, and the first time, l was a little heavy handed with it. I applied it again, with a lighter application, and it was actually pretty. I also mix the darker color with the lighter color and blend it in, and it comes out pretty each time. And it has good staying power as well. I don’t think l will buy again, but l will use this one up.
