This oil-absorbing dry shampoo refreshes hair at the root by absorbing oil and impurities. The translucent spray goes on without leaving behind a white residue.

Kenra follows the regulations set forth by the EPA (Environmental Protections Agency) and CARB (California Air Resources Board), including a new regulation to reduce the number of VOC in aerosol finishing sprays and dry shampoos starting January 1, 2023. With advances in technology, Kenra now offers aerosol finishing sprays at a 50% VOC, down from 55% VOC levels – while still maintaining great overall performance that Kenra finishing sprays are known for. Aerosol finishing sprays that are 80% VOC will remain 80% VOC.

Great for dark hair

I love this product. I have very dark hair and this does not leave a white powdery look. I use it at night and the oil absorbs throughout the night and leaves me with great volume in the morning. It’s my go to. I wish they made it in travel size for carry on traveling.

Dry? Shampoo

You may take this as a pro, but it does not have a white powder. I find this to not be as absorbent of oils on my hair. It does leave it with a nice texture and when I do use it, my hair doesn’t continue to get any oilier than it already is. So I have to use it before it gets oily to keep it from getting there.

Best dry shampoo and texturized ever

I normally use dry shampoo when my fine hair is clean because it gives body and hold. This is the best I have found. I probably can’t mention brands on this review but I have tried drugstore and expensive brands. Glad to know I can get it and the Kenra 25 hold hairspray and save some money. When I spray the dry shampoo it actually makes my hair wet! It doesn’t come out white or in a powder form, it’s liquid. It does dry but in my opinion defeats the purpose. I will never buy this again!

Have not met a Kenra product that I don't like

I have tried nearly every dry shampoo on the market, and many of them are NOT recommended. This one is a winner! It does not have an overwhelming scent, rather a subtle and attractive one. Plus, it works. I can go a bit longer between shampoos when I use this product. What I have found to be ideal is to apply it at bedtime; I don't work into the hair or brush it until the morning. This gives me perfect results, and as a bonus, adds some lift and body to my hair. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality dry shampoo.

I have heavily highlighted hair so white residue doesn’t bother me, just blends right in, but this doesn’t even produce any. Adds a little fluffy volume.
